Trece, a contemporary
Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Lounge, warmly
welcomes diners looking for an authentic Mexican
dining experience, seeking the ultimate margarita
selected from a special Tequila Lounge featuring
over 120 fine tequilas or dining year-round in
a "see and be seen" travertine and
glass enclosed patio overlooking the bustling
street scene. The 175-seat Trece, a creation
from Dallas restaurateur Robert Colombo and partners
Billy Solomon, is an upscale, yet fun, place
to Dine on an award winning cuisine.
Located in the completely redesigned
Sipango space at 4513 Travis Street in the chic Knox-Henderson neighborhood
of Dallas just a short walk from fashionable retail stores, entertainment
venues and the finest in urban living. The restaurant is also minutes
from the exclusive Highland Park and Park Cities neighborhoods.
After a twenty-three
year turn in the kitchen of the renowned Mansion on Turtle Creek,
Amador Mora was the
creating Executive Chef for Trece. He artistically
applied the authentic flavors of his native Mexico to the creative
menu - innovative, contemporary
Mexican interpretation of dishes including
ceviches, tacos, crepas, guacamole made tableside, and meat, seafood
and chicken grilled and
roasted on the kitchen's specially-designed
mesquite grill. Newly appointed to Executive Chef, Ruben Peck,
sous chef to Amador Mora since the opening
days of Trece, will now be implementing these
exquisite and robust dishes with a touch of his own flair.
