The Zeal concept was the result of the combined 28 years of experience of husband and wife team Filip and Ann Keuppens. Both Filip and Ann were raised in Belgium and frequently travelled to London, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Vienna and other cultural centers in order to gain a thorough knowledge of fashion and beauty techniques and secrets that are only now making their way to the United States.

Filip split time between Belgium and the United States in his youth before joining the U.S. Army and completing his studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. Following graduation, Filip joined the corporate world and has refined his business and product management acumen through progressively successful careers in three different fortune 500 companies. His knowledge and understanding of consumer behavior ensures that Zeal stays on top of the most current and most highly demanded techniques and practices while maintaining a focus on the needs of our customers.

After finishing her studies in Belgium, Ann worked as a professional model on the circuits in Paris, Brussels, Milan, London, Munich, Barcelona, Copenhagen and Amsterdam and has appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Flair, P-Magazine, Libelle, and various bridal publications. Following her modeling career, Ann founded and operated the celebrated Beau Spa & Salon in Belgium and partnered with the Morphic Beauty Institute to successfully raise the standard of professional make-up application and beauty makeovers in Europe.
